Don’t mistake attitude for passion

Let’s be clear with respect and positivity. Women especially in a business or customer service field that an Attitude is a negative. Just the opposite more times that can be realized. It’s a meaning of expression for the passion within what is being presented.

Expression of views, a difference of opinion(s), other suggestion(s) does not mean an attitude. Showing feelings on a situation has been viewed as a negative or a chippy stereotype within women.

Being a woman and of color this is a double hit (gray cloud and stereotype) that I have had to experience and navigate ways to overcome within being part of the corporate CS field.

There have been times when my passion as being a leader for my team displayed as an attitude to others (higher up) because of how I felt about the information being presented.

What I’m saying is let’s keep expressing our passion for what he stand for and believe in. If its comes off as an attitude to others thats means things are being done according to how you want things to be represented and nothing is wrong with that. It has gotten you to where you are now, doing your own thing.
